This adorable family was leaving for the west coast so their session was perfect timing. Despite the heat and a frazzled photographer who almost lost her purse, we had a great session!

New Families
I love new families. There is such unadulterated joy at the sight of their new baby, they radiate warmth and love and a feeling that it is now them against the world.
Whenever I feel glum*, all I need to do is look through images like this to bring a smile to my face:
A Beautiful Thing it Was
watching this mom-to-be and her little girl. There was such an energy about them. I love photographing maternities but even more so when there’s another child involved. It adds even more when the child is as full of life as this one was!
